It is aimed at those interested in the bigger picture who want to get a better overview of existing and developing entities mainly driven by research organizations. The agenda consists of a healthy mix of presentations, a panel discussion and discussion groups, providing participants the opportunity to voice their opinion and make suggestions on areas the community should concentrate on next.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Jennifer LaPlante, DeepSense
  • Shayla Fitzsimmons, Canadian Integrated Ocean Observing System
  • Lee Wilson, Federated Research Data Repository

A related hands-on event will include a number of guided sessions that will provide participants the opportunity to dive into various aspects of the data (management) lifecycle, FAIR principles, data management plans and recommendations from Canada’s funding agencies.
