Call for Participation: National Training Expert Group (NTEG)
Portage is currently seeking and actively encourages expressions of interest from graduate students, research software representatives, research ethics representatives, NSERC representatives, Indigenous scholars, and researchers from all disciplines to join its National Training Expert Group (NTEG). The mandate of the NTEG is to develop and deliver RDM training opportunities to the varied RDM stakeholders in Canada, including researchers, librarians and data professionals, university and college policymakers and administrators, and RDM service and infrastructure partners. NTEG will be engaging in work that will facilitate making research data discoverable and as open as possible in Canada by empowering researchers to implement RDM best practices, supporting the growth of RDM expertise, and ensuring that current and evolving RDM training needs are identified and addressed. NTEG will take into account the particular training needs and practices of research domains and disciplines in order to meet the needs of stakeholder communities across Canada.
